Tybro have been keeping millions of people safe on one of the worlds busiest transport networks for over 45 years – fit for a Queen.
Tybro’s relationship with London Underground started 45 years by helping them redesign and enhance their original escalator emergency stop switch, adding additional safety features making them more visible, safer and easier for the general public to use. Since then, Tybro have also become a key supplier of a wide range of critical components to escalator OEMS and their contractors helping maintain not only the existing stations but also fitting out ever growing transport network and it’s brand new routes and stations.
Fast forward, 45 years to today and we are still very much a valued critical supplier to London Underground and contractors and as you can see our stop switches have just been fitted into the latest state of the art tube station the Elizabeth Line.
